My name is Joan Aguon Charfauros and I reside on the beautiful island of Guam, where “America’s Day Begins.”

For almost a decade I’ve been working as a Senior News Producer for a local news broadcasting company. For eight years, I hosted and produced a weekly television show that aired on Guam that highlighted everything from new businesses, up and coming talent, events, and of course, food. My show had featured some amazing places on island serving up tasty dishes. Outside of work, I am equally passionate about food. I’m always looking for a new restaurant to try out or the seeking the latest culinary adventure. I decided to create this webpage as a way to share with others my love for food and most importantly let others know that despite being a tiny island in the Pacific, Guam packs a punch when it comes to flavor and can give other restaurants abroad a run for their money!

Down the line and once I get familiarized with this whole webpage…I plan to share sights and sounds of what makes Guam so special and who knows, it may just entice you to visit!
